How to install Gravity Flow
Installing Gravity Flow is simple and follows the same process for installing many other WordPress plugins. In this guide, we will show you how to install Gravity Flow from within your WordPress admin dashboard.
- First, download the zip file containing Gravity Flow from your downloads page.
-
Next, log into your WordPress admin dashboard if you have not already done so.
-
From within your WordPress admin dashboard, hover over the "Plugins" option on the left side navigation menu and click on the "Add New" link.
-
Click the "Upload Plugin" option.
-
Once on the upload page, click the "Browse" button. Then, navigate to the zip file you previously downloaded and select it. Once the file is selected, click the "Install Now" button.
-
WordPress will now automatically handle the installation of Gravity Flow. Once complete, be sure to click the "Activate Plugin" option to activate Gravity Flow.
-
If this is your initial installation you should see the installation wizard.
-
The first page will ask for your license key. Grab your "Gravity Flow" license from the license key section of your Gravity Flow account page then insert it on this page and click the "Next" button. If you prefer to manage the license key through code, refer to the documentation for license key constants after completing your installation.
-
You will then be asked if you'd like to install or update Gravity Forms with a starter license.
-
The automatic updates section of the wizard gives you the option of having security enhancements and minor bug fixes installed automatically without admin intervention (recommended) or manual. Major updates still need to be updated from the plugins page like other plugins. Make a selection and press the "Next" button.
-
The Workflow Pages section offers you the opportunity to have Gravity Flow create pages on the front-end that can be used for the inbox, status and submit pages. Note that these can be created at a later time by following the instructions in our shortcodes doc.
That’s it! Gravity Flow should now be installed and running on your WordPress site. If not, please review these instructions and try again or reach out to us for support.
